Florida gay marriage amendment has enough signatures

The South Florida Sun-Sentinel is reporting that sponsors of a proposed Florida state consititutional amendment to ban gay marriage have more than 611,000 signatures from registered voters... the magic number needed to put it on the November 2008 ballot.

If the proposal gets a 60 percent majority, it will become part of the Florida Constitution.

We need to do all we can to defeat this at the polls. It's bad enought that they collected enough support to be on the ballot but we cannot let it become part of the consititution.

What do you think... what can we do to help defeat this?
